Ronaldinho to Milan?

A very speculative Football Italia report suggests that Milan could be lining up an enormous bid for a new star, possibly Ronaldinhoor anyone else for that matter who would command a transfer fee of up to $150 million. AC Milan general director Ariedo Braida fanned the flames of expectation by declaring there would be a "transfer surprise to reward the fans." That's a tremendous amount of money, that could easily be spent on luring several somebodies to the San Siro. Ronaldinho is perhaps the only man in the world who could command such a fee, but the list of potential targets also includes Juve's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will cost at least $75 million according to Juventus, Gigi Buffon, and Ronaldo. Spanish paper El Mundo Deportivo, which is believed to be the story's primary source, suggests that Milan could be lining up Ronaldinho as a replacement for Kaka, should he decide to swap the San Siro for the Bernabeu. Such a huge bid would be possible following the $56 million sale of Shevchenko and the proposed $120 million-plus required to prize Kaka away from Milan. However, Barcelona most likely has no intention of parting with the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year.
