AC Milan Fires Allegri

AC Milan on Monday fired Massimiliano Allegri as head coach following a series of disappointing results in Serie A that have sent he storied franchise fall to 11th-place with 22 points from 19 games. The club has named former assistant coach Mauro Tassotti as caretaker manager while it looks for a full-time replacement. Among the favorites to succeed Allegri is former midfielder Clarence Seedorf, who is now at Botafogo in Brazil and has no real coaching experience.
