Angerer, 35, led Germany to
the 2013 UEFA Women's Championship title, saving two penalty kicks in the final against Norway.
She is the first goalie to win the award created in 2001 and second German to be crowned

Angerer recently left FFC Frankfurt and has been playing in Australia for Brisbane Roar.
