The Liverpool Ladies, the English FA Women’s Super League champions, have signed U.S. under-23 goalkeeper Libby Stout
from BV Cloppenburg of the Frauen-Bundesliga in Germany.
The former Western Kentucky star inked a two-year deal with the Liverpool Ladies.
“This is a great step for me in my career,” said Stout. "To represent the Liverpool Ladies is a dream come true. I've heard great things about the city and I'm looking forward to playing
for one of the greatest clubs in world football.”
Stout spent her first season in Europe with French club Yzeure Allier in France. She has also represented the United States on the
Americans Whitney Engen
and Amanda DaCosta
played last season on Liverpool, which finished
12-0-2. Engen then moved to Sweden with Tyreso and will join Houston in the NWSL.
