[SOCCER BUSINESS] Liverpool, owned by Fenway Sports Group, has partnered with a iconic Massachusetts company, Dunkin’ Donuts, making it the official coffee,
tea and bakery sponsor of the EPL club.
Dunkin’ Donuts announced in the fall plans to return to Britain with 150 restaurants around in country. It has more than 10,500 restaurants
in 31 countries but had left Britain in the mid-1990s.
Liverpool CEO
Ian Ayre said the deal was important as the Reds seek to keep up with the rest
of Europe's top clubs.
'It is right up there with the key partnerships that we have," he said. "In order to support [Liverpool manager]
Brendan
Rodgers, we have to find the resources."
