Wilmington partners with Toronto FC

[USL PRO 2014 COUNTDOWN] The Wilmington Hammerheads became the eighth USL PRO club to sign a partnership agreement with an MLS club, signing a one-year deal with Toronto FC to receive a minimum of four players on loan during the 2014 season.

Toronto coaches will observe Wilmington training sessions and games, and Wilmington coaches will also attend Toronto FC’s preseason in Florida in February.

PHOENIX MOVES AGAIN. Under new management, Phoenix FC will play the 2014 USL PRO season in the West Valley at the Peoria Sports Complex, located in the heart of the P83 Entertainment District. It will play its games in the main stadium, which will be reconfigured for soccer for the season. It's the third home for Phoenix FC, which began its first season the 2013 season playing at Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium, the women's soccer stadium, in Tempe, but moved for its final games to Reach 11, a youth sports complex, where attendance, already on the decline from the 4,198 fans for its opener, plummeted

    Where does this leave the NASL if USL Pro teams are partnering with MLS? Sounds like you have a better shot at MLS on a USL Pro team. What's the NASL doing?
