U.S. U-18s drop 1-0 decision to Argentina

[COPA DEL ATLANTICO] For the second time in 24 hours, the USA went up against an established youth power at the Copa del Atlantico for under-18 teams in the Canary Islands and again a second-half goal was the difference as Argentina prevailed, 1-0, on a goal by San Lorenzo's Rodrigo Contreras.

The USA, which fell to Spain by the same score on Tuesday, had its chances as Rubio Rubin, Jackson Yueill and Dembakwi Yomba gave the Argentine defense troubles, but it could not beat Argentinos Juniors keeper Augusto Batalla.

The tournament ends Friday when the USA faces the Canary Islands selection, which has dropped 4-0 and 3-0 decisions to Argentina and Spain.
