[SEEN AROUND TOWN] While much of the country was blanketed by snow and rain, it was sun and fun at MLS preseason. For a look at how everyone spent the week.

SEXY SAX MAN. LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez worked on his  "Sexy Sax Man" goal celebration, digitally captured at Electronic Arts studios in Vancouver for the upcoming special FIFA World Cup edition of the popular FIFA soccer series.



SPEED RACERS. Jordan Stewart (right) probably did not do any team bonding like this back in England. Mark Fucito joins him for the San Jose Earthquakes' day of race cars at Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson.



TIMBERS SNOWMAN. Much-needed snow and rain blanketed much of the West Coast and forced everyone inside, leaving this snowman as the only sign of soccer in Portland.



FC DALLAS SENTRY. Ditto for Dallas, where snow forced rare school cancellations.



DESERT KINGS. Meanwhile, FC Dallas coaches Oscar Pareja and Marco Ferruzzi enjoyed a day in the desert, riding camels on a break from preseason training in Abu Dhabi.



NICK RIMANDO. What's the best thing about preseason training in Orange County? Disneyland with the kids. After a month away with the national team, RSL keeper Nick Rimando got some time with his two children, Jett and Benny Rose.




REGEN AT THE BEACH. What better way to regenerate the day after a preseason match than a day at the beach? The Columbus Crew re-charged in sunny Bradenton, Fla.
