[NASL 2014 COUNTDOWN] Jamie Watson
, who had 10 goals and seven assists for USL PRO champion Orlando City in 2013, has
signed with Minnesota United for the 2014 NASL season.
The 27-year-old Watson, who originally began his pro career with Real Salt Lake after starring for the U.S. U-17 national team,
spent some time on loan with Minnesota Stars FC in 2012.
"I am excited about coming back to Minnesota," he said. "I know how great a club Minnesota is and how great their fans are. It was
an easy decision for me to come back and play with the core group of guys I played with in 2012. I can't wait to get back and get going this season."
Watson is the second USL PRO forward
to sign with Minnesota, along with Christian Ramirez
, who joined the club from the Charlotte Eagles. KING BACK IN
