Howard's Everton falls on last-minute goal

[AMERICANS ABROAD] A goal, variously credited to John Terry and as a Tim Howard own goal three minutes into stoppage time, gave leader Chelsea a 1-0 win over Everton in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon. It was a disappointing end of the day for Howard, second in the EPL in shutouts. He had kept the game scoreless with a tremendous save on Eden Hazard and even better block on Branislav Ivanovic's rebound attempt in the second half.

Fabian Johnson created the penalty that earned Hoffenheim a 2-2 comeback draw at his future club, Borussia Moenchengladbach. Sejad Salihovic converted the penalty kick in the 82nd minute to earn Hoffenheim a share of the points after it fell behind by two goals after 12 minutes.

Oguchi Onyewu was back in Sheffield Wednesday's starting lineup for its 2-0 win at Huddersfield Town. John Brooks made his first appearance for Hertha Berlin in more than two months as a late sub in its 2-1 away win over VfB Stuttgart, while Brek Shea was also back on the field as a sub for Barnsley in its 1-0 win over Millwall.
