Jersey Week begins final countdown to openers

[MLS SPOTLIGHT] MLS begins the countdown to opening day with its second annual Jersey Week as clubs will host events where they will unveil a new primary, secondary or third jersey. This year’s theme: “Soccer, Made in North America."

Clubs will share the story behind the making of their new adidas jersey with their supporters and will focus on the art and detail that went into the process.

“Last year’s inaugural Jersey Week was a tremendous success,” said Maribeth Towers, senior vice president of consumer products for MLS. “This is a celebration of the soccer jersey in a World Cup year. We know how much the jersey and the crest mean to devoted supporters. This is an annual platform that will be inclusive of every MLS club this year.”
