Beginning May 13, ESPN will broadcast a new series about the U.S. men’s national team called, "Inside: U.S. Soccer’s March to Brazil," which focuses on the team's preparations for the 2014
World Cup. The series will air for five straight weeks on ESPN and will also air on ABC following the ESPN premieres. It follows the team's preparations in the camp leading up to the tournament, as it
plays three international friendlies against Azerbaijan, Turkey and Nigeria before departing for Brazil.
"We want to show the fans what our team is all about," USA coach Jurgen
said on Sunday, speaking at the SXSW 2014 conference in Austin, Texas. "We have always said that the national team should represent the culture of the country, and the fans play a
big part in that," the former German World Cup winner said. "We are going to work extremely hard to get this group prepared to do something special in Brazil, and we are excited to work with ESPN to
allow our supporters the opportunity to see the tremendous effort our players and staff will put in to get ready."
