Concacaf announced today that its general secretary, 39-year-old Enrique Sanz
, will be undergoing treatment for leukemia.

Sanz has been responsible for overseeing the reorganization of Concacaf at
its new headquarters in Miami and under new president Jeffrey Webb

Sanz had been vice president of South American soccer marketing agency Traffic Sports USA, heading the Concacaf region since 2005.
