recent subdued performances for Real Madrid are the result of a knee injury that the 2013 Ballon d’Or winner
has been carrying for some time now. Apparently, the Portugal international has been receiving regular assessments from the club’s medical staff for problems with his patellar tendon, which
started sometime last season. Even so, Ronaldo is set to start this weekend’s derby against Rayo Vallecano.
