Bradley's young Stabaek opens with big victory

[AMERICANS ABROAD] The Bob Bradley era at promoted Stabaek began with a 3-0 win over Sogndal before 4,017 fans at the Nadderud Stadion. The multinational lineup included former LA Galaxy midfielder Michael Stephens, New Zealand international Craig Henderson via Dartmouth and a trio of young Ivorians.

Henderson, who spent the last four seasons in Sweden, had the first goal for Stabaek. Besides Stephens and Henderson, the only other newcomer in the Stabaek lineup was 23-year-Ghanaian Enoch Adu from Belgium's Club Brugge.

Goalie Mande Sayouna, midfielder Luc Kassi and forward Franck Boli,  all in their third seasons with Stabaek after arriving from Ivory Coast as teenagers in 2012, were among six starters who are 21 or younger.
