U.S. trio moves into European club semis

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Whitney Engen, Meghan Klingenberg and Megan Rapinoe started for Swedish club Tyreso in its 0-0 tie at Austria's Neulengbach that moved it into the semifinals of the UEFA Women's Champion League for the first time thanks an 8-1 win at home in the first leg.

Tyreso plays Birmingham City Ladies, who upset Arsenal Ladies, in the semifinals April 19 and 26. Before then, the three Americans will join the U.S. national team for two games against China.

The other semifinal is an all-German affair: Turbine Potsdam against defending champion Wolfsburg.

-- Arianna Criscione, who attended UCLA and Boston College and now plays internationally for Italy, started for Torres in the Italian club's 4-1 loss to Turbine Potsdam.

    I think someone made a mistake. It should be Christen Press, not Megan Rapinoe.
