New York and Minnesota go for three in a row

[NASL: Week 3] New York and Minnesota, the only unbeaten and untied teams in the NASL, look to earn their third straight wins of the spring championship when they host San Antonio and FC Edmonton, respectively.

The Cosmos will look to extend their unbeaten streak, currently at 13 games, when they host the Scorpions. They are also two minutes shy of tying the NASL record most consecutive shutout minutes as they are currently at 357, dating back to the 2013 season.

United, which plays its home opener at Blaine's NSC Stadium, has not lost to the Eddies in six previous meetings in Minnesota.

"We are excited to finally get the chance to play in front of our home fans," said United coach Manny Lagos.  "I hope they are excited to get a chance to see the product that we have worked really hard to put together on the field this Saturday."
