was named the NASL Player of the Week for his play in the RailHawks' 1-0 win
over the defending champion New York Cosmos. For the NASL Team of the Week.
One of the key saves for the Wake Forest product out of Baltimore came in the 77th minute when Norwegian
forward Mads Stokkelien
had an open chance in front of goal to tie the game, but Fitzgerald robbed him with a point-blank save to preserve the 1-0 win.
