Cameroon's Eto'o is holdover from 1998 finals

[WORLD CUP 2014] Samuel Eto’o has been included in Cameroon's 28-player short list for the World Cup. If he goes to Brazil, he'll likely be one of two holdovers from the 1998 finals along with Italy keeper Gianluigi Buffon.

Cameroon, which opens against Mexico in Natal on June 13, will play friendlies against Macedonia and Paraguay in Austria and against Germany in Moenchengladbach before leaving for Brazil.
