Zlatan Ibrahimovic capped off one of his best-ever seasons by winning his second-consecutive Ligue 1 player of the season award. Ibrahimovic scored 25 league goals as PSG won the French title with a record 86 points, as well as scoring 10 goals in eight UEFA Champions League games. At the awards dinner in which he was honored, the big Swede attempted to speak French, which is not one of the five languages he is fluent in. His attempt drew several audible laughs from his teammates in attendance. In addition to winning the Player of the Year award, Ibra also won goal of the year for brilliant back-heel in a 4-0 win against Bastia in October.
