Australia makes changes under new coach

[WORLD CUP 2014] Ange Postecoglou, who took over as Australia's World Cup coach six months ago,  named a young 30-man Socceroos squad that was submitted to FIFA. It included two two uncapped players, Ben Halloran and Bailey Wright, from European lower divisions.

Halloran plays for Fortuna Duesseldorf in the German second division while Wright spent the last season with English third level club Preston North End.

Injuries ruled out Bayer Leverkusen forward Robbie Kruse and defenders Rhys Williams and Trent Sainsbury.

No longer with the team are such long-time Socceroos as Mark Schwarzer, Lucas Neill, Brett Holman and Harry Kewell.
