[UNDER-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP]
U.S. Soccer referee Margaret Domka
and assistant referees Marlene Duffy
and Veronica Perez
have been selected to officiate at the U-20 Women's World Cup this summer in Canada.
FIFA invited a
total of 18 referees and 26 assistant referees for the U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Domka, an NWSL referee, worked the U-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan in 2012. She also works as a
high school Spanish teacher.
Duffy became an international referee in 2008 and has worked at the last two Olympic women's soccer competitions and the 2011 Women’s World Cup in
Perez, who joined the FIFA women’s panel of assistant referees in 2008, has worked at the same tournaments with Duffy.
