Leon Crowned Mexican Clausura Champ

Leon won Mexico's first division Clausura tournament on Sunday for the second time in as many years, as Ignacio Gonzalez’s overtime header proved to be enough to beat Pachuca 2-0 in the final second-leg. Pachuca took the first game, 3-2, but Argentine Mauro Boselli’s 66th-minute header leveled the score on aggregate. Because the Mexican league does not use the away goals rule, the game headed into overtime, where Gonzalez headed home from a corner to secure the championship for Leon.
