Harrisburg among four clubs to have two players honored

[USL PRO] Morgan Langley, who scored a pair of goals to lead the Harrisburg City Islanders to their first home victory of the season, was named Player of the Week. The Islanders were one of four teams to have two selections on this week's Team of the Week.

Harrisburg entered Saturday’s game with the Dayton Dutch Lions without a win, or even a goal, at Skyline Sports Complex this season. But Langley and Clesio Bauque, also named to the Team of the Week, had two goals apiece in the 5-3 win.

Langley and Bauque were joined on the Team of the Week’s forward line by the Wilmington Hammerheads’ Jordan Hamilton, the Toronto FC Homegrown signing who scored his first professional goal to lift in a 1-0 win against the Charleston Battery. Hammerheads defender Yahaya Musa also was picked for the Team of the Week. The Richmond Kickers (George Davis IV and Alex Lee) and Rochester Rhinos (Tony Walls and Alex Dixon) also earned a pair of selections to the Team of the Week.

Rounding out the selections were Sacramento Republic FC’s Rodrigo Lopez, who scored the game-winning goal in the victory over the LA Galaxy II at a sold-out Hughes Stadium, Los Dos defender Bradley Diallo, and Orlando City goalkeeper Miguel Gallardo also earned selection as his five-save shutout allowed the Lions to continue their undefeated start to the season with a 1-0 win against Arizona United.
