Zagreb trip opens with pair of draws against host

[USA UNDER-14 BOYS] The U.S. under-14 boys national team drew twice with Croatia in Zagreb, rallying for a 2-2 tie on Monday and then earning a 1-1 tie two days later.

Timothy Weah, the son of former Ballon d'Or winner George Weah, set up Chris Goslin for the equalizer after Croatia went ahead with two goals following Jake Artega's early strike.

In the second match, Tristan Weber (with an assist from Jalen James) had the U.S. goal.

The trip concludes with friendlies against NK Krsko of Slovenia on Thursday and a Croatian regional team on Saturday.
