Brazil Cracks FIFA's Top 3 Ahead of World Cup

FIFA on Wednesday published the last update to its World Rankings table before the World Cup starts next Thursday, with host Brazil moving into third-place while Spain and Germany remain the world’s top two teams, respectively. Portugal fell one place to No. 4, and Argentina, which moved up two places, rounded out the top five. The USA moved up one place to No. 13, while its opening World Cup opponent in Group G, Ghana, moved up one place to No. 37. Mexico fell one spot to No. 20.
