Middle East coaches in Washington for exchange

[SPORTS VISITORS] Sixteen youth coaches from Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, and Yemen are in Washington through June 15 on a two-week stay organized by the U.S. State Department for workshops with American coaches, clinics with young athletes and meetings with U.S. sports professionals.

The participants are connecting with organizations that include the Virginia Youth Soccer Association, MLS's D.C. United and the NWSL's Washington Spirit.

The State Department sports diplomacy program is run by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
