John Oliver serves up FIFA on sausage skewer

[VIDEO PICK: Comedy] You know FIFA is in deep, deep trouble when it becomes the target of comedians on American television. On what he calls the sausage principle -- "the theory," he says, "that if you love something, never find out how it's made" -- the brilliant HBO comedian John Oliver takes a devastating look at FIFA on "Last Week Tonight."

Oliver admits he is conflicted by the start of the World Cup. He loves soccer. FIFA? Well ...

He skewers FIFA president Sepp Blatter ("If your name is Sepp, at a bare minimum you strangled someone in a bar fight") and FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke ("Maybe I look a bit arrogant, but how do I say, f*** your laws," Oliver says in a French accent) like a sausage, as well as Brazil 2014 and Qatar 2022 organizers and the entire FIFA organization.

Continuing with his food analogies, Oliver says FIFA and bribery should go together like peanut and a child with a nut allergy but they go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Best description of FIFA that I have ever seen. I hope every soccer fan gets to see it.
