New Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert has described his experience at the World Cup with England, which finished last in Group D, as “ruthless.” In an interview with FIFA.com, the32-year-old said: “It’s ruthless, it’s absolutely ruthless. It’s something that I’ve never experienced before in my life, I’ve played in a lot of games but I’ve never played in a tournament. It’s hardto forget about and start looking to the future; it’s going to take time to get over what’s happened.”
