Shaqiri: 'Everything is Possible' for Small Switzerland

Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri put Switzerland safely into the round of 16, netting a hat trick in a 3-0 win against Honduras as Group E play came to a close on Wednesday. “We knew that we were going to show great soccer today,” Shaqiri said after the game. “For us, this has been really a dream to be in the World Cup, small Switzerland in the World Cup.” He added that the team is “really anxious” for the game with Argentina, led by Lionel Messi. “We also know that we are not the favorites for the match, but we are going to try for victory,” he said. “Getting to the round of 16, everything is possible.
