Suarez ad becomes Copacabana tourist attraction

[WORLD CUP: Off the Post] Apparently it's possible for an advertisement to be too popular. A kiosk ad in Copacabana featuring Luis Suarez, in which is mouth is open, attracted so many people posing for photos and taking selfies with it, adidas took it down.

Adidas also released a statement regarding Suarez's suspension:

"Adidas fully supports FIFA's decision. Adidas certainly does not condone Luis Suarez's recent behavior and we will again be reminding him of the high standards we expect from our players.

"We have no plan to use Suarez for any additional marketing activities during the 2014 FIFA World Cup."

    What he did was abhorrent. But, making fun of his sickness is unkind.
