Tennessee and Sunrise Elite defend Region III titles

[U.S. YOUTH SOCCER] Tennessee SC's under-16 boys and Florida’s Sunrise Elite under-16 girls won their third consecutive titles at the U.S. Youth Soccer Region III Championships in Baton Rouge, La., to advance to the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships. Georgia led the way with six Region III champions.

North Texas was close behind with five title winners. Florida had two teams claim championships, and Tennessee had one.

The National Championships will be held July 22-27 at Maryland Soccerplex in Germantown, Md.
