Faves & Likes: USA arrives in Salvador

[SOCIAL MEDIA ROUNDUP] The USA left its headquarters in Sao Paulo for Salvador, where it faces Belgium in Tuesday and its fans are already getting fired up. Also, tweets from Costa Rican President Luis Guillermo Solis, Eva Longoria and Tiesto.

Setting up base in Sao Paulo despite playing all three of its group games in northern cities meant nearly 9,000 miles of round-trip flights. That didn’t seem to bother the Americans as they ended up reaching the second round.

Jurgen Klinsmann’s team’s game on Tuesday required another trip north, 900 miles this time, and they arrived on Sunday.
