Clermont Foot has appointed another female coach, Corinne Diacre, as head coach of the Ligue 2 club in the wake of the resignation of Helena Costa last week. Costa became the firstfemale to coach a men’s professional team in the top two divisions of any European league on May 22, but she left the post last week citing “personal reasons.” Diacre, Costa’sreplacement, has now signed a two-year contract at the club.
