Report: Liverpool Agrees to Suarez Sale

According to Catalan TV station TV3, Barcelona and Liverpool have reached a preliminary agreement for the transfer of Luis Suarez, with the former agreeing to pay close to 79 million euros ($107.4 million) to sign the Uruguayan striker. The report claims that the deal has been finalized but will depend on agreeing payment terms, as Barca hopes to secure the sale of Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez to either Arsenal or Liverpool prior to purchasing Suarez. Suarez is believed to have agreed a contract worth 12 million euros ($16.3 million) for five seasons.
