Chelsea Signs Croatian Youngster Pasalic

Chelsea on Wednesday completed the signing of Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic from Hadjuk Split. The 19-year-old who has represented his country at the U21 level, has already joined coach Jose Mourinho’s squad for preseason training. The German-born youngster scored 11 times in 36 appearances in all competitions for Split last season, helping his team to third place in the Croatian league. Pasalic is Chelsea’s third signing so far this summer, following the additions of Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa.
