Report: Cavani Demands EPL Move

Sky Sports on Monday reported that Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has demanded a move to the English Premier League after failing to settle with the French champion. The 27-year-old Uruguay international only joined PSG last summer, signing a five-year contract, but he has been frustrated due to PSG’s insistence on playing star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in his preferred central striker position. During the World Cup, Cavani refused to rule out a move to England, saying: “In football, you never know. Anything can happen. One day you are in one team and, the next day, you can be in another."
