ESPN is reporting that Arsenal will complete the $17 million signing of French right-back
Mathieu Debuchy on Thursday now that his soon-to-be former club, Newcastle, has signed Debuchy’s
replacement in Netherlands international
Daryl Janmaat.
Arsenal has already added Chile international
Alexis Sanchez to its ranks, but manager
Arsene Wenger is
also said to be eyeing Real Madrid midfielder
Sami Khedira, who would cost close to 25 million pounds ($42.8 million), as well as Germany international
Lars Bender, who missed the World
Cup through injury, and Colombia and Nice goalkeeper
David Ospina.
