Alberto Moreno remains Liverpool coach
Brendan Rodgers’ first-choice target at left back even though his club has so far been unable to agree a fee with last
season’s Europa League winner. Liverpool had a 16 million-pound ($27.4 million) offer for Moreno rejected at the end of May by Sevilla, which is understood to want more than 20 million pounds
($34.3 million). Rodgers wants more options at left back, which proved to be a problem for the Reds last season due to
Jose Enrique’s long-term knee injury.
