Swansea City on Friday announced that striker
Michu has joined Napoli on a season-long loan deal with the Italian club holding an option to make the transfer permanent. The 28-year-old Spaniard
arrived at the Liberty Stadium in July 2012 from Rayo Vallecano, becoming an instant sensation with Swans fans, as he scored 22 goals in all competitions in his first season. The Spain international,
who only managed two goals in 15 games the following season, completed a medical with
Rafael Benítez’s team on Thursday morning.
