I have been living in NYC for over 24 years and this is the first time I heard the word "New Yorkese." I thought initially that someone is making a joke and combining two words, "New York" and "Martin Scorsese." When I checked the Webster, I found out that this term has been in use for over 120 years. Interesting!

Just steer them safely away from some parts of the Bronx -- so that they can actually get to start and pay some games this autumn in the EPL. Language skills won't help much in some of those rough neighborhood boroughs.
