Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp on Tuesday poured cold water over the transfer speculation swirling around star players Mats Hummels and Marco Reus, who are beingmonitored by Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool, respectively. Speaking at a sponsor’s event, Klopp emphatically ruled out the chance of either player leaving Signal IdunaPark.

“I can guarantee you that there are no indicators for [Hummels or Reus] to leave,” he said. “What was it today? Mats to United? For what? 20 million [euros]? With those amounts you canforget about that straight away anyway.” Hummels has repeatedly been linked with United given the Premier League club’s eagerness to sign at least a center back to replace Nemanja Vidicand Rio Ferdinand, who departed this summer for Inter Milan and Queens Park Rangers, respectively.

Meanwhile, Catalan daily Sport claims that United has also lodged a 27.7 million pound($47.2 million) bid for Fiorentina and Colombia winger Juan Cuadrado. According to the report, United’s interest comes after a deal for Angel Di Maria collapsed last week, withParis Saint-Germain likely to sign the Real winger instead.
