Costa Rican Keylor Navas,
coming off a stellar World Cup performance in which he was instrumental in the Ticos reaching the quarterfinals, has finalized a deal to join Real Madrid,
where he will compete with Iker Casillas
and Diego Lopez
for playing time, although one of them is expected to leave by the Aug. 31 transfer deadline. The 27-year-old
Navas arrives from La Liga rival Levante and signed a six-season contract.
