Hibs goalkeeper scores winner in his debut

[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] In his first game since joining Hibernian on a six-month loan, goalkeeper Mark Oxley scored in its Scottish Championship opener, a 2-1 victory over Livingston at Easter Road, with a punt that bounced over opposing keeper Darren Jamieson.

Jamieson misjudged the bounce and could only watch as the ball went into his net for the first Hibs goal by a keeper since Andy Goram against Greenock Morton in 1988.

"I've got to be really honest, I didn't think Mark would be scoring our winner today," Hibs manager Alan Stubbs told Hibernian TV. "Normally it happens when it's blowing a gale, but today we found ourselves in one of those strange situations where it's unfortunate for their goalkeeper."

The Edinburgh club won four Scottish league titles, mostly recently in 1952 and once knocked Barcelona out of European play, but it has struggled in recent years and was relegated from the Scottish Premier League after last season.
