FC Dallas tops post-World Cup charts

[BY THE NUMBERS] FC Dallas has continued its recovery from its May swoon when it went winless in seven games, going unbeaten since MLS's World Cup break.

It is unbeaten in seven games, pushing its unbeaten streak to nine games, and leading all MLS clubs in points per game since the break, ahead of Sporting Kansas City, the LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake and D.C. United. Philadelphia, which changed coaches at the MLS break, ranks sixth since play resumed.

FC Dallas has along with Real Salt Lake the longest active winning streak at three games. During that stretch, rookie Tesho Akindele has scored four goals, and Fabian Castillo, coming off suspension, has three goals and two assists.
