Germany's Kaemper vs. Nigeria's Oshoala

[UNDER-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP] Germany enters the Under-20 Women's World Cup final as the highest-scoring team in the tournament with 16 goals in five games, but its best player may be its goalkeeper, Meike Kaemper.

From the opening game against the USA, a 2-0 Germany win, when she made 16 saves, to the semifinals against France, a 2-1 Germany win despite almost total domination by the Bleuettes, Kaemper has been outstanding, and she will need another outstanding game in Sunday's final against Nigeria as she will have to go up against Asisat Oshoala, who scored four goals in the semifinals.

The French laid siege to the German goal in the semifinals, and the 5-foot-7 Duisburg keeper was required to make seven saves, none better than a reflex stop on a shot by Mylaine Tarrieu in the 35th minute. Kaemper, a backup in 2012 when Germany lost to the USA, 1-0, in the final, models herself after German World Cup star Manuel Neuer.

Oshoala scored four goals in the 6-2 win over North Korea to give her a tournament-high seven in five games, and she also assisted on the opening goal -- in the second minute -- by Oklahoman Courtney Bright. Oshoala was spotted playing in Lagos in 2012 and signed with Nigeria's top club, the River Angels, who play in Port Harcourt. The River Angels are coached by Edwin Okon, the Nigerian national team coach, and Oshoala is already a star on the Super Falcons, the senior national team.

For now, Oshoala, who is being tipped as the greatest young player to ever come out of Africa, will look to lead the Super Falconets -- the U-20s -- to their first world championship.

Sunday's final at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal is a rematch of the 2010 final Germany won on home soil with a 2-0 win over Nigeria.
