Report: Gunners' Giroud Could be Out Three Months

Arsenal is anxiously awaiting the results of a second scan on striker Olivier Giroud’s ankle amid fears that the France international could be out for up to three months. Speaking ahead of the Gunners’ do-or-die UEFA Champions League playoff second-leg at home to Turkish giant Besiktas, Coach Arsene Wenger confirmed that the club still does not know whether or not the Frenchman’s ankle is broken. Giroud’s absence leaves Alexis Sanchez, Yaya Sanogo and Lukas Podolski as Arsenal’s main attacking options.
