[UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE]
Romanian defender Cosmin Moti
got his 15 minutes of fame -- and a big pay day for his Bulgarian
club Ludogorets -- when he stepped into goal following the dismissal of his team's goalie late in overtime and proceeded to score the first penalty kick of the shootout and save two opposing spot
kicks and send Ludogorets into the group stage of the Champions League for the first time at the expense of Romanian champion Steaua Bucharest.
A 1-0 win in the second leg was enough to
erase Steaua's 1-0 lead after Game 1, so it went to overtime, where goalkeeper Vladislav Stoyanov
was sent off in the 120th minute.
Moti stepped into goal for the shootout, scored on the first shot and then went to work in goal. He stopped Paul Pirvulescu
and later stoned Cornel Rapa
to give Ludogorets a 6-5 shootout win.
The 32 teams -- 22 automatic qualifiers and 10 playoff winners -- will be drawn into the eight groups
at ceremonies on Thursday in Monaco. Pot 1:

Paris St. Germain
Zenit St. Petersburg
