Cech and Rosicky are Czech holdovers from 2006 win

[CZECH REPUBLIC-USA] The Czech Republic roster for Wednesday's game against the USA in Prague includes Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech and Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky, both starters when the Czechs beat the USA, 3-0, at the 2006 World Cup. The game comes six days before the start of Euro 2016 qualifying against the Netherlands.

Cech and Rosicky are among the nine foreign-based players in the squad. Cech is among five starters from the Czech team that fell to Portugal in the quarterfinals of Euro 2012, their last appearance at a major tournament. The Czech Republic did not qualify for the 2010 or 2014 World Cup.

The game at the Generali Arena, home of Sparta Prague, will be the fourth under new Czech coach Pavel Vrba, who called in two uncapped players, goalkeeper David Bicik and defender Radim Reznik.

Vrba took over in November 2013 after working at Viktoria Plzen, which has seven players in the squad. The Czechs are winless in three friendlies since he took charge.

Czech Roster:
GOALKEEPERS (3): Petr Cech (Chelsea/ENG), Tomas Vaclik (FC Basel/SUI), David Bicik (Sparta Prague)
DEFENDERS (7): Radim Reznik (Viktoria Plzen), Vaclav Prochazka (Viktoria Plzen), David Limbersky (Viktoria Plzen), Pavel Kaderabek (Sparta Prague), Michal Kadlec (Fenerbahce/TUR), Marek Suchy (FC Basel/SWI), Daniel Pudil (Watford/ENG)
