Chelsea's Torres Wants AC Milan Move

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is said to be closing in on a move to AC Milan after his agent revealed that talks between the clubs have been “positive.” The Spain international is reported to have agreed a two-year deal with the Rossoneri, with the Blues believed to have accepted a 10 million pound ($16.6 million) bid, having rejected Milan’s original offer of a loan move.

However, despite the agreement, Chelsea may yet be wary of allowing the 30-year-old to leave, particularly following the news of fellow striker Diego Costa’s hamstring injury. Moreover, any move for Torres was believed to be contingent on Chelsea signing AS Roma striker Mattia Destro as a replacement, but Roma President James Pallotta on Thursday insisted that the Italy international is “absolutely not for sale” and “has never been so.”
